Jennifer Wirt, P.T., MPT
Jenny has been practicing physical therapy since 2011 and is passionate about helping people feel their best. In her practice, she incorporates the whole body into her assessments and treatment with the mindset that we are one body instead of individual parts and that pain and imbalance in one area can be rooted in another. This holistic treatment approach is aimed at treating impairments, while also preventing recurring or future injuries.
Earning her bachelor's degree in health studies from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma, Jenny went on to complete the master's program in physical therapy at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. Her journey with physical therapy has taken her on travel opportunities throughout the US from Washington state to New York, and now back to the west coast. She has worked in various settings with diverse patient populations including post-surgical, musculoskeletal and neurological impairments, athletic injuries, and balance deficits.
She is certified in the McKenzie Method A and B for addressing spinal impairments and her special skills include CranioSacral Therapy (CST), kinesiotherapy taping, myofascial release techniques, and pilates-based rehabilitation.
Outside of her role as a physical therapist, as a personal fashion stylist Jenny not only helps people feel their best, but look their best too. She also enjoys hiking, art museums, learning about food as medicine, exploring the west coast, and taking advantage of her new beach location by learning to surf.
