Kimberly Russell
Director of Physical Therapy, Physical Therapist
Kimberly is a born and raised New Yorker who grew up in a small town called Warwick, New York. After graduating from Warwick Valley High School she attended Villanova University in Pennsylvania majoring in Biology. During her time at Villanova Kimberly was exposed to physical therapy while doing a work study rotation with the football team where she worked along side their trainers and therapists.
Upon graduating from Villanova in May of 2002 with her B.S. in Biology and a minor in psychology Kimberly left the east coast and headed west ward to pursue her physical therapy career!!
She attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque pursuing her Masters in Physical Therapy. During her graduate work Kimberly interned in a multitude of settings from outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, neurological physical therapy, inpatient with a specialization for Alzheimer’s, pediatrics, home health and even an acute rotation with specialization in burns. Her most memorable though was a four month stint in 2006 at the Veterans Affair Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah in the orthopedic outpatient center treating veterans from World War II to our current battles overseas.
After graduating from physical therapy school with her masters in 2006 Kimberly began her career working at Ogden Clinic in Ogden, Utah. This multidisciplinary clinic allowed her the opportunity to work with a variety of orthopedic patients from 2 months to 99 years old!
Her travels then took her farther west ward to sunny California where she then began work at Brentwood Village Physical Therapy in Brentwood California with co-owner of Cypress Center Michelle Schrader. Kimberly is the newest addition to Cypress Center and is very excited to join this amazing team of ladies!
When Kimberly is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband Eric, who is an officer in the United States Air Force currently stationed at Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo and her two year old son Hollan!!
