Meet Us
Rachel Clark, DPT:
Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Director
 Rachel was born and raised in Chautauqua County New York. She entered Daemen College’s entry level Physical Therapy program directly out of highschool. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with a minor in Biology. She continued on to graduate school and graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Daemen College located in Amherst, NY.
While interning at the Children’s Hospital of San Diego, Rachel decided to return to California after graduation. However, unable to decide a specific location to begin her career, Rachel began traveling throughout California as a contract Physical Therapist. After working for three years at multiple outpatient neurological and orthopedic based clinics, Rachel began working in Santa Monica, which ultimately convinced her to settle down to a fulltime position. Rachel is very happy to call Santa Monica her home and feels privileged to work in the Pacific Palisades.
Rachel grew up playing basketball, volleyball, and softball and continued to College where she played NCIA volleyball. After finishing team sports Rachel began long distance running and developed her own hip troubles. After seeking further professional care, Rachel was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and has since had bilateral periacetabular osteotomies. She enjoys specializing and treating patient’s with hip and pelvis injuries and is especially able to empathize with patient’s post surgery.
When not working, Rachel enjoys traveling, beach volleyball, designing jewelry, and visiting her family on the East Coast. She is recently scuba certified and intends to continue traveling and exploring the globe. When not working, she is occupied with her newest family member, Beatrice, a French Bulldog.
Rachel is available by appointment Monday-Friday. She specializes in treatment of disorders of the hip, pelvis, and spine. She is also particularly interested in working with patients suffering from neurologic disorders. |
