 Alison began her career in orthopedics in Texas, where she treated a wide variety of cases in postoperative rehabilitation, sports injuries, pediatrics, and geriatrics.  She is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics and has completed advance manual therapy training in the Maitland – Australian technique. In 2009, she received her Pilates Instructor Certification through Body Arts and Science International (BASI). 

At The Cypress Center, Alison values the one-on-one approach when treating patients and utilizes both manual therapy and Pilates-based rehabilitation in her current work.  She enjoys working with all orthopedic conditions and strives to implement an individualized rehabilitation program to assist her patients in returning to their prior level of function.  Alison is the Clinical Education Coordinator for Doctorate Physical Therapy students and enjoys mentoring future physical therapists as they prepare to enter the field.  Throughout her career, she has actively sought volunteer opportunities, working both locally in pediatric hippotherapy and internationally in orthopedics with Health Volunteers Overseas (HVO). 

Outside of her work, Alison sits on the board of The University of Texas Los Angeles Alumni Organization and is a proud member of the American Physical Therapy Association, CPTA, and TPTA. Alison received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas in Austin and both her Master of Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University.
